Sydney Tools is looking for an experienced Trade Sales Specialist to join our Roselands Commercial team!

ABOUT THE ROLE




As a Trade Sales Specialist at our Roselands Commercial store, you'll work closely with trade professionals and customers, providing expert product advice and delivering outstanding service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Driving sales and achieving individual and store performance targets.
- Assisting trade and commercial customers with tools, equipment and product solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Providing knowledgeable product recommendations based on customer requirements.
- Identifying sales opportunities and helping customers find the right products.
- Managing customer enquiries, quotations and sales transactions.
- Maintaining product presentation and developing your knowledge through regular supplier training.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for a motivated, results-driven sales professional who brings confidence, industry knowledge and a genuine passion for customer service.

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Proven Sales Experience – A demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and deliver results.
- Industry Knowledge – Experience selling power tools, hardware, construction supplies, industrial equipment or related products is highly regarded.




- Strong Customer Relationships – Confidence dealing with tradespeople, contractors and commercial customers.
- Product Understanding – An interest in tools and equipment, with the ability to understand and recommend products.
- Sales Drive – A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and closing sales.
- Communication Skills – The ability to build rapport, understand customer needs and deliver excellent service.

Experience in power tool or trade-related sales will be highly regarded.

You may currently be working in:

- Power tool or hardware retail sales
- Trade counters or construction supply stores
- Automotive parts or equipment sales
- Electrical, plumbing or industrial supplies
- Building materials or trade wholesale
- Other sales roles involving technical products or trade customers
