Job Title: Architectural Draftsperson (ANZSCO 312111)

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join our team on a full time basis.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Assist our Design Manager, Workshop Manager and Construction Site Manager in planning and coordinating architectural steel fabrication projects.

· Interpret architectural plans, specifications, building regulations and relevant codes of practice.

· Prepare preliminary sketches, shop drawings, working drawings and technical specifications using CAD software.

· Prepare, update and revise plans, layouts and fabrication drawings to meet project requirements.

· Coordinate drawing schedules and project documentation throughout the fabrication and installation process.

· Inspect fabricated work and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications,



Australian Standards and quality requirements.

· Calculate material quantities and assist in estimating project costs and timeframes.

· Collect site measurements and project data to support the preparation of accurate drawings.

· Perform routine calculations and prepare preliminary layouts to assist with project planning.

Requirements:

· Relevant qualifications or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification

· At least 1 year of experience

· Good time management skills and able to work under pressure.

Salary: $78,000 - $90,000
