WAIT STAFF AND BAR STAFF WANTED

Carlos Cantina is looking for friendly, energetic and reliable people to join our team!

We're a busy Mexican restaurant where the margaritas are flowing and excellent service is a must.

We're looking for someone who is fast, switched-on, proactive and happy to get stuck in. You need to enjoy working in a team, be willing to learn and be comfortable helping wherever needed during busy service.

The Role

- Running food and drinks to tables
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Taking food and drink orders
- Preparing and serving cocktails, margaritas, beers, wines and other beverages
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Recommending menu items and drinks
- Keeping the bar and dining area clean, organised and well stocked
- Assisting with bar preparation, restocking and closing duties
- Working closely with the kitchen, bar and floor team
- Helping wherever needed during busy service

Training & Progression

- You'll initially start as a Busser, learning our service standards and how the restaurant operates.
- As you develop your skills and demonstrate the right attitude and reliability, you'll progress into Wait Staff duties.
- With further training and if you're the right fit,



there will be opportunities to progress into Bar Staff duties.
- We believe in training our team from the ground up and providing opportunities for those who show initiative and a willingness to learn.

About You

- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Current Victorian RSA certificate preferred
- Friendly and confident when interacting with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Fast, organised and able to work under pressure
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
- Proactive and willing to help without being asked
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Takes pride in providing great customer service
- Comfortable working across different areas of the restaurant

Probation Period

There will be a one-month probation period, during which we'll assess your performance, reliability, attitude and suitability for the role.
