We are currently seeking a Casual Amenities Cleaner to join our team.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Amenities Cleaner to join the team at Coomera Holiday Village.

In this hands-on role, you will play an significant part in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene and presentation of our guest amenities and shared facilities, including bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities and camp kitchens.



Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will contribute directly to a positive experience for our guests.

The role includes weekend work and requires availability across a 7-day rotating roster , with shifts and hours varying based on business needs.

Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain guest amenities, including bathrooms, showers, toilets and laundry facilities, to a high standard
- Clean and present camp kitchens and shared facilities, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained
- Conduct regular inspections of amenities and shared areas to identify cleaning or maintenance requirements
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages to management
- Identify and report maintenance issues, including plumbing concerns, damaged fixtures or other safety hazards
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to address repairs or maintenance requirements relating to amenities and pool areas
- Ensure cleaning equipment and products are used and stored safely and appropriately
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including identifying and reporting hazards or incidents




- Support the overall cleanliness and presentation of the park
- Assist with other cleaning and amenities duties as directed by management

ABOUT YOU

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

- Previous cleaning, housekeeping or hospitality experience (preferred)
- A positive attitude and willingness to undertake hands-on cleaning duties
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- The ability to work efficiently and manage your time effectively
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to following safe work practices and company procedures
- A reasonable level of physical fitness to undertake the requirements of the role
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
- Availability for an immediate start will be highly regarded

Remuneration

The rate of pay for this role will be in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award.
