Must Have Skills: 5+ years of experience in DNS operations/support , with at least 2–3 years at L3 level

Strong hands‑on experience with BIND (open‑source DNS)

Deep understanding of:

· DNS protocol internals

· Authoritative vs Recursive DNS

· TTL, caching behavior, and query resolution flow

Strong Linux/Unix system administration experience

Robust networking fundamentals:

· TCP/IP, UDP

· Latency and routing behavior

Nice to Have Skills:
 Experience with Anycast DNS deployments

 Exposure to other DNS software: Unbound, PowerDNS, Knot DNS

 Automation and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible)

 Monitoring tools:

- Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix

 ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management experience)
