MARS Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant for an initial 3-month contract with an established organisation in the mining sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mining background who can hit the ground running and provide immediate support to a busy finance team.

The Role

- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

- Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

- Partner with operational teams to provide commercial insights.

- Analyse financial performance, costs and operational expenditure.

- Assist with month-end reporting and process improvements.

- Provide additional support to the wider finance team as required.

About You

- Previous mining industry experience is essential.





- Proven experience as a Senior Management Accountant or Management Accountant.

- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting skills.

- Excellent Excel and financial analysis capabilities.

- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent experience.

- Available immediately or at very short notice.
