An established commercial construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Adelaide team.This is a senior delivery role suited to a proven construction skilled with strong commercial acumen, leadership skills and a track record of successfully managing commercial building projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Your new role
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of commercial construction projects.
- Manage project budgets, programs, procurement and contractual requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Lead project teams and coordinate key stakeholders throughout delivery.
- Identify and manage commercial, programme and delivery risks.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager within commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement, programming and project financials.
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and consultants.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially astute with strong communication and leadership capability.
- Relevant construction, engineering or project management qualifications desirable.
