Introduction

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Asphalt Production Engineer to join a leading civil infrastructure contractor in New Zealand.

In this role, you will provide technical and operational support across asphalt, polymer and RAP production facilities, focusing on plant performance, process optimisation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide engineering support across multiple production facilities.
- Monitor plant performance, productivity and operational efficiency.
- Identify process improvements and troubleshoot production issues.
- Improve plant procedures, systems and production processes.
- Support quality assurance and HSE compliance.
- Assist with plant upgrades, capital projects and commissioning.
- Monitor operational costs and support performance reporting.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in production,



manufacturing or heavy industrial operations.
- Strong understanding of plant operations and process improvement.
- Experience in troubleshooting and operational optimisation.
- Knowledge of quality, safety and environmental compliance.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Asphalt, polymer or RAP production experience is highly regarded.
- Full driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites.
