ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Our client is a Sydney-based Local Council seeking additional project support across its Fleet and Asset Management functions. This is an opportunity to contribute to a defined project focused on improving fleet records, asset data accuracy and compliance documentation.

ABOUT THE ROLE.

Temporary 3-month chance. Working closely with the Fleet team, you will undertake a range of auditing, data reconciliation and compliance activities to improve the accuracy and consistency of Council's fleet records. You will also review existing WHS documentation, assist with process mapping and investigate opportunities for fleet system improvements. Must be available to work full time in the office.

DUTIES.

- Physically audit fleet items and match against Council's plant database
- Reconcile plant records against the financial asset database

- Audit SOPs and risk assessments, identifying and creating any missing documentation in Ideagen Plant Assessor




- Coordinate custodian sign-offs and register completed WHS documentation within Council's ECM system
- Develop fleet task process maps and investigate Ausfleet procurement options

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

- Council or Local Government experience highly regarded
- Understanding of WHS documentation, risk assessments and compliance requirements
- Strong data reconciliation, auditing and record-keeping skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently

REMUNERATIONs & BENEFITS.

- $50-$55 p/h + Super
- Full-time office-based role
