Are you an experienced Solution Architect, Systems Engineer or Technical Integration Specialist with a strong Defence background?

We are seeking a senior ICT professional to support the implementation and integration of complex technology capabilities within a secure Defence environment.

This role sits at the intersection of solution architecture, systems engineering and technical integration, requiring someone who can understand complex ICT architectures, navigate system dependencies and lead the delivery of integrated technical solutions.

You'll work across a sophisticated system-of-systems workplace, contributing to Defence capability development, technical assurance and the successful integration of ICT solutions across multiple platforms and domains.

The Role

Working under limited direction, you will provide technical leadership across ICT solution implementation and integration activities, ensuring solutions align with architectural, security and operational requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and coordinating complex ICT solution implementation and systems integration activities.
- Translating solution architectures and technical designs into practical integration and delivery outcomes.
- Assessing technical interfaces, interoperability requirements, system dependencies and architectural constraints.
- Applying systems engineering principles to support integrated capability delivery.
- Identifying and resolving complex cross-system integration challenges and implementation risks.
- Contributing to integration testing, verification, validation and technical assurance activities.
- Developing technical documentation, engineering assessments, implementation plans and capability development artefacts.
- Working collaboratively with solution architects, systems engineers, capability managers and technical authorities.




- Providing technical advice and recommendations to senior Defence stakeholders and executives.

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in candidates who combine strong technical knowledge with experience delivering complex ICT solutions within Defence.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Significant experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, technical integration or ICT implementation.
- Demonstrated experience working within Defence ICT or capability delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise, solution or application architecture and its relationship to technical implementation.
- Experience working with complex, interconnected systems involving multiple platforms, technologies and security domains.
- Demonstrated involvement in delivering ICT integration outcomes, not solely high-level architecture or design.
- Understanding of systems engineering practices, integration testing, verification, validation and technical assurance.
- Experience preparing technical documentation, engineering assessments or artefacts supporting Defence capability development.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex technical dependencies and integration challenges.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including experience advising senior technical and executive stakeholders.
