We are looking for an experienced Standard Cell Characterization Engineer to support standard cell library characterization, with a focus on FDSOI technology nodes and cryogenic temperature conditions.

The engineer will be responsible for setting up and executing characterization flows, generating and validating Liberty models, debugging characterization issues, and ensuring project milestones are met.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and maintain the standard cell characterization flow.
- Perform standard cell library characterization across required PVT corners.
- Generate Liberty (.lib) files for NLDM, CCS, CCSN, and LVF models.
- Execute SPICE simulations and analyze characterization results.
- Generate extracted netlists from layout and perform characterization using extracted views.
- Develop a strong understanding of circuit design and layout interactions impacting characterization.
- Support view generation and characterization flow automation.
- Perform library QA checks, consistency checks, and validation.
- Conduct extensive debugging of characterization, simulation, modeling, and flow-related issues.
- Track deliverables and ensure characterization milestones are met.
- Conduct internal technical reviews and drive issues to closure.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to the client.

Required Qualifications




- Strong hands-on experience in standard cell library characterization.
- Experience generating NLDM, CCS, CCSN, and LVF Liberty models.
- Strong understanding of PVT characterization.
- Hands-on experience with SPICE simulation and analysis.
- Experience working with layout-extracted netlists and post-layout characterization.
- Experience with library validation and QA methodologies.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in scripting and automation, preferably Python, Perl, Tcl, or Shell scripting.
- Good understanding of standard cell circuit design, timing, power, noise, and variation.

Key/Preferred Experience
- Hands-on exposure to FDSOI technology nodes.
- Experience performing characterization at cryogenic temperatures.
- Understanding of characterization behavior across extreme PVT and low-temperature operating conditions.
- Experience supporting characterization deliverables through SoC/library release milestones.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $95000/Year

Pay Range Maximum: $192000/Year
