is seeking a motivated and reliable Cook to join a community-based organisation in a remote community in the Northern Territory.

38 hours per week

Pay Rate:

$36.81 per hour + 25% casual loading

Casual Rate:

$46.01 per hour

About the Role As the Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and kitchen safety.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard.

Planning and organising food preparation to meet daily requirements.

Maintaining a clean, protected and hygienic kitchen.





Following food safety regulations and workplace procedures.

Monitoring food supplies and assisting with stock control.

Working collaboratively with other staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen.

Relevant cooking qualifications or equivalent industry experience.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication, organisation and time-management skills.

A flexible and positive attitude towards working in a remote community.
