The role
We are seeking a Cyber Security Delivery Specialist (Business Analysis) to play a key role in translating cyber security requirements, risks and regulatory obligations into practical, measurable business outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of cyber security, technology delivery and business transformation. You will partner with cyber specialists, architects, project teams and business stakeholders to define requirements, drive implementation and ensure security controls are embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
What you'll do

- Gather, analyse and document business, functional, non-functional and security requirements.
- Translate cyber risks, regulatory obligations and architecture standards into practical delivery outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops, current-state assessments, gap analyses, impact assessments and solution design activities.
- Define and maintain requirements traceability, acceptance criteria, risks, decisions and implementation evidence.
- Partner with technical teams to review designs, validate controls and support implementation across identity, network, cloud and security technologies.
- Ensure cyber security requirements are embedded within procurement, solution design, testing and project delivery activities.
- Support security assurance activities, including testing, remediation, risk assessments and governance reporting.
- Prepare audit-ready documentation, compliance evidence and reporting for governance forums and assurance reviews.
- Build strong relationships across business, technology and cyber security teams to drive successful delivery outcomes.
Who are you?
You are an experienced Business Analyst with a strong cyber security background who can confidently bridge the gap between technical specialists and business stakeholders.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience delivering cyber security initiatives within a complex or regulated environment.
- Solid business analysis capability including requirements gathering, process mapping, impact assessment and solution design.
- Experience across cyber security domains such as IDAM, PAM, MFA, cyber resilience, vulnerability management, secure access and governance.
- Hands‑on understanding of cyber security technologies, infrastructure and networking concepts including firewalls, segmentation, identity, cloud security, logging and monitoring.
- Experience integrating security requirements into procurement, solution design, testing and project delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards such as Essential Eight, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Zero Trust principles.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience preparing governance reports, audit evidence and executive-level documentation.
- The ability to balance security outcomes, delivery timelines, operational requirements and commercial considerations.
