Senior Acoustic Consultant | Brisbane or Sydney (Brisbane preferred)

About the opportunity
We’re partnering with several leading acoustic and environmental consultancies in Brisbane and Sydney who are growing their teams in 2027. They’re looking for experienced Acoustic Consultants who want more ownership of projects and clients, and a clear path to Associate level.

What you’ll be doing

- Leading noise and vibration assessments across infrastructure, transport, building and environmental projects
- Delivering construction noise and vibration assessments and monitoring programs
- Noise modelling and reporting (SoundPLAN, CadnaA or similar)
- Managing client relationships and project budgets
- Writing proposals and supporting business development
- Mentoring junior consultants

What you’ll bring

- Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics or a related field
- 6+ years of acoustic consulting experience




- Strong technical report writing
- Experience across environmental, transport/infrastructure or building acoustics
- AAS membership (or working towards it)
- Rail Industry Worker card is a bonus but not required
- Strong working knowledge of relevant policies and standards (e.g. NSW Noise Policy for Industry, ICNG, Road Noise Policy, QLD EPP (Noise), AS/NZS 2107, NCC)
