AO6 Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer - Government Location: South Brisbane, QLD Classification: AO6 Employment Type: Temporary Contract About the Role Randstad is currently partnering with a Queensland Government department to recruit an experienced AO6 Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer based in South Brisbane. This opportunity will see you working within a collaborative procurement team, delivering strategic sourcing initiatives, managing procurement activities and supporting effective contract management across a diverse range of categories. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, evaluation and contract negotiation. Develop and implement procurement strategies that deliver value for money and positive business outcomes. Manage procurement projects across a variety of goods and services categories. Provide procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders. Support contract development, supplier management and performance monitoring. Ensure compliance with Queensland Government procurement policies, procedures and relevant legislation. Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and commercial outcomes. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate: Previous experience in procurement,



sourcing and contract management, preferably within the Queensland Government or public sector. Strong knowledge of procurement frameworks, tendering processes and contract negotiation. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple procurement activities and competing priorities. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills. Experience developing procurement documentation and managing tender evaluations. Relevant procurement qualifications, Level 2 Procurement Certification or equivalent experience will be highly regarded. What's on Offer AO6-level prospect within the Queensland Government.
