We're seeking a Senior Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) who is passionate about technical excellence, continuous improvement and working collaboratively to solve complex engineering challenges. About the Role
Reporting to the Asset Class Manager – Facilities, you will provide specialist engineering leadership and technical guidance across the lifecycle of our Gas Distribution assets.
Working closely with asset managers, project teams, operational stakeholders and delivery partners, you'll help ensure our assets continue to operate safely, reliably and efficiently while supporting the transition to a more sustainable energy future.
This role offers a diverse blend of asset strategy, project support, operational engineering and innovation, giving you the opportunity to influence decisions that create lasting value for our customers and communities.

What You'll Bring
You'll ideally have:
- Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Control Systems Engineering or a related discipline
- Around 10+ years' engineering experience within utilities, energy, oil & gas, mining, infrastructure or other safety-critical environments
- Experience supporting engineering projects from design through to commissioning
- Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, control systems and field instrumentation
- Knowledge of earthing systems and hazardous area requirements
- Familiarity with AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 60079 standards
- Experience in asset management, risk management and regulatory compliance
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) credentials
