FindStaff is looking for an Executive Search Specialist to help grow our executive search capability across Australia and New Zealand.

This isn't a role where you inherit a desk full of jobs and wait for briefs to arrive.

We're looking for someone who can build a market, create relationships and turn conversations into opportunities.

Someone who knows how to engage CEOs, executives, business owners and senior decision-makers, understand what's keeping them awake at night, and position executive search as a genuine business solution.

What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of growing an executive network and search portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.

You'll:

- Win recent executive search business, identifying and developing prospective clients across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
- Build trusted relationships with CEOs, Executives, Boards, business owners and senior leaders.
- Develop a strong network of executive and leadership talent across multiple industries and functions.
- Generate your own pipeline through targeted business development, referrals, networking, research and strategic outreach.
- Identify opportunities for retained, exclusive and high-value search assignments.
- Partner closely with clients to understand their organisation, strategy, culture and leadership requirements.
- Map markets and proactively engage high-calibre passive executive talent.




- Lead executive search assignments from initial client conversation through research, sourcing, assessment, shortlist, offer and placement.
- Become a recognised and trusted voice in your executive markets.
- Collaborate with the wider FindStaff team and IntoWork colleagues to uncover opportunities and build long-term partnerships.

Who we're looking for

We're interested in someone who brings commercial hunger and executive credibility in equal measure.

You'll bring:

- Proven experience in executive search, retained search, senior recruitment or executive-level business development.
- A track record of winning new clients and developing recruitment/search revenue.
- Confidence engaging senior executives and decision-makers.
- Strong headhunting, talent mapping and passive candidate sourcing capability.
- The ability to build genuine long-term networks, not just transactional contact lists.
- Excellent storytelling, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial judgement and the confidence to advise and challenge clients when required.
- A self-directed approach and the motivation to build something.
