About the Opportunity
Haynes People is currently seeking an experienced Quoting Advisor to join our valued client in Archerfield.
This is a fantastic prospect to become part of a professional team where your skills are valued and your contribution makes a difference. You'll enjoy a supportive work environment, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to secure ongoing employment for the right candidate.
- Pay rate: $55-$65/hr
- Roster: Monday to Friday roster, approximately 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Duration: 6 month contract
What You'll be Doing
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for machine and component rebuilds, overhauls, and repairs.
- Interpret customer requirements and technical scopes of work.
- Estimate labour, parts, external services, and associated costs.
- Liaise with workshop, purchasing, engineering, logistics, and external suppliers to obtain pricing and technical information.
- Monitor and follow up outstanding quotations to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Mechanical trade qualification, ideally as a Fitter or similar trade.
- Strong understanding of equipment rebuilds, repairs, maintenance, and installation processes.
- Experience within heavy equipment, mining, construction, earthmoving, or industrial workshop environments.
- The ability to read and interpret repair scopes and identify parts and labour requirements.
- Strong computer and administration skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
