Curious about what's changing in healthcare, and what to do about it?
We're looking for a Policy Officer to join our Policy, Advocacy and Standards Unit. Working with expert clinicians, you'll develop initiatives to raise awareness of diversity and sustainability, improve equity and environmental outcomes, and create resources to support the protected use of AI in healthcare radiology and radiation oncology across Australia and New Zealand.
You'll research complex issues, draw insights from a range of sources, engage with clinical experts and stakeholders, and bring together diverse perspectives to support the development of policy, guidance and practical initiatives to support healthcare delivery. These issues are multifaceted, and approaches will vary. Your work will take many forms, including practice standards, position papers, education initiatives and social media campaigns that raise awareness and support change.
This role will suit someone who enjoys exploring unfamiliar subjects, asking thoughtful questions and making connections. You'll also be comfortable changing direction as evidence, priorities or circumstances evolve. Alongside research and strategic thinking, you'll bring a practical approach to moving work forward.
We're looking for a curious and adaptable thinker who is comfortable navigating uncertainty, responding to emerging issues, and pivoting between priorities when needed. You'll enjoy learning, asking questions, and working collaboratively with subject matter experts unpack the implications of emerging developments on healthcare culture and practice.
RANZCR is the peak body for clinical radiologists and radiation oncologists across Australia,
New Zealand and Singapore.
We set standards, support training, and advocate for better patient care. We're value-driven, inclusive, and committed to the wellbeing and growth of our people.
Enjoy a rewarding career at RANZCR, where you'll benefit from 12 rostered days off (RDOs) per calendar year, attractive salary packaging options, highly flexible working arrangements, and a range of additional employee benefits that support your wellbeing and work-life balance.
