A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Senior Planner - Civils to develop and control the program for the civil works packages, providing a credible baseline, reliable forecasts and timely advice on critical interfaces and emerging delay.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed civil construction programs from the contract, drawings and specifications
- Work with construction teams to plan staging, sequencing and resourcing of civil works
- Run critical-path and delay analysis, flag risks to milestones and look for time savings
- Update progress,



produce forecasts and prepare program reporting for the project team
- Support commercial and estimating teams with resource-loaded programs and time-related claims input

What We're Looking For

- Planning or programming experience on civil infrastructure projects
- Experience on complex Tier 2 civil projects and above
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or other similar planning software
- Solid reporting skills, with the ability to identify and communicate program risk
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines

Australian experience is required.
