About the opportunity
We currently have one (1) fixed term full-time opportunity available for an Asset Information Officer to join DPIRD’s Asset Management team. The position is for up to 24 months, with a possibility of permanency. Are you organised, detail-focused and enjoy working with systems and data? Do you thrive on bringing information together, ensuring it’s accurate and up to date, and working with a range of people to get things done? This could be a great opportunity for you to develop your career in asset management. As the Asset Information Officer, you will play an important role in supporting DPIRD’s asset management activities by maintaining, validating and improving asset information across corporate systems. You will work with asset custodians and internal stakeholders to keep asset registers, maintenance records and condition information accurate and current. You will also assist with routine reporting and dashboards, data preparation and validation, system updates and testing, documentation and user guides, and identifying data or process issues that require resolution. It is also important to be aware that DPIRD is an emergency management department and so on occasion, all employees may be required to work or travel during, or outside of, normal business hours to assist with incidents and emergencies.
The position is currently available for immediate filling and includes the possibility of extension or permanency in the future. This process may also be used to fill other same or similar fixed term or permanent vacancies that arise in DPIRD (within the locations listed in this advert) over the next 12 months.
