Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured works, we are seeking a motivated Civil Site Engineer to join our team.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of civil projects from commencement through to completion.

You will work closely with site supervisors, subcontractors, surveyors and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily site activities and subcontractors
- Assist with project planning, programming and delivery
- Manage quality assurance documentation and inspections
- Monitor project costs, quantities and productivity
- Prepare RFIs, variations and progress claims
- Coordinate survey and set-out requirements
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and council requirements
- Conduct site inspections and monitor safety compliance
- Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities




- Assist in procurement and scheduling of materials and plant
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- 2+ years' experience in civil construction projects
- Experience in subdivisions, roads, drainage, utilities or infrastructure works
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience with QA systems and project documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Experience working for a civil contractor
- Exposure to council and authority projects
- Knowledge of VicRoads, Melbourne Water and local council standards
- Experience with Civil 3D, Bluebeam or similar software
