Its Corporate and Commercial practice acts on landmark transactions for large private businesses and entrepreneurial listed companies, and many clients have stayed for decades. It is now looking for a corporate and commercial lawyer in Melbourne with 4-8 years' post-admission experience who wants real responsibility and direct client relationships.

About the role

You will advise business owners, founders, boards, senior executives and investors,



and be involved from initial structuring and due diligence through to drafting, negotiation and completion. Your work will include:

- Mergers and acquisitions, and business sales and acquisitions
- Private capital investments and joint ventures
- Shareholder arrangements and business structuring
- Corporate governance advice
- A broad range of commercial agreements and arrangements

What you'll bring

- 4-8 years' PAE in private practice
- Admission to practise in Australia
- Strong experience in corporate transactions and general commercial matters
- Excellent commercial judgement and the ability to spot the key legal issues quickly
- The ability to manage matters independently with appropriate supervision
- Superior analytical, negotiation, drafting and communication skills
- A team-oriented approach and the ability to build trusted client relationships
