About the Role
Field Supervisor
- Telecommunications (ONM) Service Stream is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to join our Telecommunications team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising field crews and delivery partners across operational and maintenance programs while ensuring protected, compliant and high-quality network construction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and supervise field technicians, civil crews and subcontractors.
* Conduct site assessments, network surveys, inspections and quality audits.
* Review construction designs and validate scopes of work before execution.
* Coordinate construction activities to meet customer commitments and delivery targets.
* Monitor contractor performance, defect resolution and compliance requirements.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Safety, Quality and operational standards.
* Provide shoulder-to-shoulder coaching, mentoring and field support.
* Liaise with clients, authorities and stakeholders to support network operations.
* Participate in an on-call roster.



About YouYou are an experienced telecommunications professional with strong knowledge of fixed network construction and maintenance environments. To be successful, you will bring:
* Minimum 5 years' experience within external telecommunications networks.
* Proven experience leading field-based teams and subcontractors.
* Strong understanding of network construction methodologies including: + Fibre deployment and maintenance + Cable hauling + Civil construction activities + Network audits and quality inspections
* Working knowledge of HFC, FTTN, FTTC and FTTP networks.
* Ability to interpret network designs, build packs and construction documentation.
* Experience managing contractor performance, KPIs and service delivery outcomes.
* Strong focus on safety, compliance and quality assurance.
