We’re a family-owned and managed building business with a strong reputation in the insurance repair industry, working with some of Australia’s major insurers across Queensland.

We’re looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead our Queensland Supervision team and take ownership of the quality, performance and delivery of our insurance repair portfolio.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows construction, knows how to lead people and can keep jobs moving while maintaining high standards of quality, service and compliance.

The Role

You’ll lead, support and develop our Supervision team while working closely with our operational, assessing and administration teams to deliver quality outcomes for our clients and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead, mentor and develop the Qld Supervision team
- Drive team performance, accountability and a positive, high-performing culture
- Oversee the delivery of insurance repair projects across the team
- Monitor job progress, quality, timelines and operational performance
- Support the implementation and continual improvement of systems, processes and procedures
- Provide guidance and support on complex, escalated or challenging jobs
- Step in operationally when required to support the team
- Maintain strong relationships with insurers, customers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
- Assist with managing subcontractor performance and support the development of a strong trade network
- Set performance expectations and provide regular coaching and feedback
- Ensure all works meet our safety, quality, ethical and compliance standards




- Maintain accurate and timely records within our job management systems

About You

You’ll be an experienced construction leader who is comfortable balancing people leadership with practical operational involvement.

You’ll bring:

- Proven experience leading and managing Supervisors or construction teams
- Strong residential construction knowledge
- Insurance repair experience strongly preferred
- QBCC Supervisor Licence or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong understanding of quality, safety and construction compliance requirementsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence working with job management systems and Microsoft 365
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and willingness to take ownership
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- Flexibility to travel within Queensland when required
