Senior Accountant / Manager - Business Services

Whether you're an accomplished Senior Accountant looking to broaden your advisory experience or an established Manager ready to take ownership of a growing portfolio, this opportunity can be shaped around your experience and aspirations.

You'll take responsibility for an established portfolio of predominantly SME clients across a diverse range of industries, with the opportunity to develop and grow your own client base over time.

For candidates joining at Manager level, the role will also incorporate broader leadership responsibilities, mentoring team members and contributing to the firm's continued growth.

Your Impact

- Build trusted, long-term relationships with SME clients, becoming their go-to adviser for business and financial matters
- Manage and grow an established client portfolio, identifying opportunities to deliver additional value
- Provide proactive advice across tax planning, business structuring, budgeting, cash flow and broader commercial matters
- Review work prepared by the support team, ensuring technical accuracy and quality
- Work closely with the Directors on client strategy, business development and practice growth
- Contribute to team development and mentoring,



with additional leadership responsibilities for those joining at manager level

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful, you'll bring at least five years' experience in public practice accounting, along with CA or CPA qualifications and strong technical knowledge across business services, taxation and compliance.

More importantly, you're someone who genuinely enjoys working with clients.You can look beyond the numbers, understand what makes a business tick and translate financial information into practical, commercially sound advice.

You'll be confident managing client relationships, comfortable taking ownership of your work and motivated by opportunities to make a meaningful difference to the businesses you support.Experience managing a client portfolio, proficiency with Xero and a proactive, solutions-focused approach will be important.

You may already be operating at Manager level, or be a capable Senior Accountant ready for greater autonomy, client exposure and career progression.
