Estimator – Current Build School & Commercial Projects

Our client is an established commercial construction business delivering new-build, fit-out and refurbishment projects across the education, health, retail and hospitality sectors.

They're looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team based in Brisbane CBD.

About You

- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Estimator, with a strong track record in new-build school and commercial construction projects.
- Strong ability to interpret construction drawings,



specifications and scopes of work.
- Proven experience preparing detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs and BOQs.
- Confident liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and assess competitive quotations.

The Role

- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for new-build school and commercial projects.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities.
- Source, review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Identify project risks, cost discrepancies and opportunities for value engineering.
- Prepare and submit competitive tender proposals within required deadlines.
