The Bureau of Meteorology is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified person for a remote posting on Willis Island for approximately six months, with potential October 2027 deployment. The role focuses on Upper Air and Surface Observations, instrument maintenance and data quality monitoring, within a small team on Willis Island.
The OIC will lead, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety procedures while coordinating with remote operations and partner organisations
