The Opportunity

We're looking for an experiencedFullstack Engineer who is available to start immediately and join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Due to the immediate need within the team, we're particularly keen to hear from candidates who cancommence straight away or at very short notice.

You’ll help shape and deliver the technical direction of our digital platform as part of a collaborative Full Stack TypeScript team. Working across both front-end and back-end development, you’ll build high-quality, scalable and maintainable software that delivers exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll join a customer-focused, agile environment where design, engineering and product work closely together to create mobile-first digital experiences. This is an opportunity to work across the entire software development lifecycle, influence technical decisions, adopt emerging technologies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing.

What you’ll be doing:

- Design, develop and deliver high-quality, production-ready software across the full stack.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers and product teams to build customer-centric digital experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code, with a strong focus on performance, reliability and security.
- Contribute to application architecture and promote best practices in software engineering.
- Participate in Agile delivery practices and support a SecDevOps culture.
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex technical issues across applications.




- Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies and ways of working.
- Mentor and support team members, sharing knowledge and strengthening engineering capability.
- Contribute to technical discussions, team practices and roadmap planning to help drive business outcomes.

What we're looking for:

- Experience with React or similar front-end frameworks.
- Experience with Node.js, Express or equivalent back-end technologies.
- Strong knowledge of modern HTML, CSS and maintainable styling approaches.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, npm and modern build tools such as Next.js or Vite.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices, semantic versioning and modern software delivery principles.
- A collaborative mindset, solid communication skills and passion for continuous learning.
- Experience working in autonomous, cross-functional teams.
