The role

Supporting the Practice Director, you will manage a varied family law caseload across a broad range of matters, with scope to take real ownership of files while working within a well-supported team environment.

Matters are likely to include:

- parenting and children’s matters
- divorce and separation
- property settlement and financial matters
- spousal maintenance
- domestic violence related matters
- mediation and dispute resolution
- urgent applications and interlocutory work where required

This is a role for someone who enjoys both the technical and human side of family law.

Requirements:

To be considered, you will ideally have:

- 5–10 years’ + PAE Family Law
- solid private practice family law experience
- confidence managing files with a high level of autonomy
- strong communication and client relationship skills
- sound drafting, negotiation and matter management capability
- empathy, professionalism and strong judgement
