Profectus is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Director to support the Program Director of a multi-year registry modernisation program within an Australian Government agency. The program spans more than 20 projects across three workstreams and around 350 people, and is replacing an ADABAS/Natural mainframe, Siebel CRM and Lotus Notes workplace with Dynamics 365, OutSystems/.NET, Databricks, Boomi, AWS and Azure. The work covers the program operating rhythm, governance and RAID, executive reporting and deputising for the Program Director.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Program Director across program planning, execution oversight and governance
- Run the program operating rhythm, including program boards, workstream reviews, steering committee preparation and action tracking
- Coordinate integrated planning, dependencies and sequencing across workstreams and delivery partners
- Run the program RAID process and drive timely, evidence-based corrective action
- Oversee preparation of executive and steering committee reporting
- Deputise for the Program Director and represent the program with senior stakeholders
- Support program staffing, onboarding and performance across agency and partner teams
- Pair with agency staff in program management roles and hand over the program operating rhythm




- Document governance processes and templates as reusable agency assets
- Mentor project managers and PMO staff

Required Experience

- 10+ years in program and project delivery
- Senior roles on large technology-enabled programs
- Australian Government or regulated-sector programs
- Governance, RAID, planning and reporting
- Coordinating multiple workstreams and suppliers
- Stakeholder management and written communication at executive level
- Mentoring project managers and PMO staff
- Program recovery or stabilisation
- Registry, licensing, regulatory or legislative reform programs
- Legacy system modernisation programs
- MSP, PRINCE2, PMP or agile certifications

Security Clearance Requirements

- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must have a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (minimum)

Working Arrangements

- Onsite at client premises
- Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane or Traralgon (VIC)
