What You'll Be Doing

Assisting with food preparation and meal service

Preparing and presenting texture-modified meals in line with residents' dietary requirements





Providing friendly and attentive service to residents and staff

Maintaining clean, organised and safe kitchen and dining areas

Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures

Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure meals are delivered on time and to a high standard

Desired Skills And Experience What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a kitchen hand, catering assistant or hospitality role

Experience in aged care, healthcare or contract catering environments (desirable)

Ability to follow procedures, work efficiently and manage competing priorities

Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude

A caring and respectful approach when working with older people

Current year influenza vaccination and willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check
