About the role We are seeking to fill the role of Dental Assistant. This is an integral role within our dental team, based in Manly West, Queensland.
As a Dental Assistant, you will provide chairside support to our dentists, assisting with patient care and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and dental practice protocols.
Key responsibilities
Greeting patients and managing reception desk operations with professionalism and warmth
Scheduling and confirming appointments, managing the appointment book efficiently
Processing patient payments and managing financial transactions
Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations
Answering telephone enquiries and providing information about our services
Coordinating with dental team members to ensure seamless clinic operations
Assisting with administrative tasks and practice management duties
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
Dental Assistant responsibilities
Providing chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
Preparing and sterilising dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assisting with patient comfort and positioning during treatments
Maintaining an organised and hygienic treatment environment
Supporting the clinical team with various dental procedures as required
Following all safety and infection control guidelines
