Via Porta is an all-day Eatery and Deli based in Mont Albert. We are currently on the hunt for a passionate, dedicated Commis Chef to join our diverse team.

Via Porta prides itself on supplying the community of Mont Albert and beyond with an array of high quality products produced in house and sourced locally, nationally and internationally.

About the role Casual position working in our Eatery service

18-30 hours of work available per week

Saturday availability is required

What you'll be doing Working in our Eatery service - cooking and plating dishes to our standards

Running a section during busy services, working alongside and supported by our senior chefs

Food preparation and mise en place to set the kitchen up for service

Following recipes and presentation standards consistently, maintaining a clean, organised kitchen and following food safety practices





Receiving, labelling and rotating stock

Reliable, punctual and able to work Saturdays
