What does a Civil engineer do? It depends on the team you are in, but your day-to-day tasks could include:

Working alongside a team of engineers, designers and project managers to deliver quality engineering and technical activities to achieve successful projects

Participate in meetings with clients and other consultants, and contractors to facilitate effective project coordination.

Complete design calculations and records within time and budget restraints

Gain experience in site inspections and construction contracts

Utilise industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create and modify engineering plans in a digital format

Contribute to the preparation of reports and other essential engineering documentation.

Conduct site visits to observe and monitor construction activities, providing valuable insights for ongoing design projects.

QualificationsAbout You

Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent

Passion for learning and problem-solving

Australian Citizen, PR, or NZ Citizen





Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation
