They are seeking to strengthen their finance team on a temporary basis for year-end to work on a range of duties largely focusing on period-end closing and reporting, as well as audit support.

Company Background

Our client is a prominent multinational financial services group with a growing presence in the APAC market. They are seeking to strengthen their finance team on a temporary basis for year-end to work on a range of duties largely focusing on period-end closing and reporting, as well as audit support.

The Role

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will focus on:

- Reconciliations between local and head office P&Ls;
- Month-end processing and closing
- Assisting with P&L; review for the consolidated entity




- Financial statement preparation for year-end
- Working closely as a liaison between external auditors and finance
- Handling audit queries, producing files for submission

Your Background

To become a valuable member of the team during this period, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- Immediate availability
- CA qualified, with experience/training as an External Auditor
- Experience working within industry (3+ months preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge, experience producing and reviewing financial statements
- Prior experience within the financial services industry is highly regarded but not essential
- Solid communicator, able to coordinate between internal and external teams
- Critical mind-set, can analyse data and dive into problem-solving
