About the Role Working as part of a construction and maintenance team, you will assist with bridge construction and maintenance activities while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
Your duties will include:
Carrying out carpentry work associated with bridge construction and maintenance
Installing and working with formwork and falsework
Assisting with concreting activities and concrete finishing
Completing steel tying and reinforcement work
Supporting general construction and maintenance activities as required
Following site drawings, specifications and instructions
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
Complying with all site safety procedures and requirements
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Carpentry
Working at Heights ticket
Previous experience in
bridge construction or maintenance
Practical experience with formwork, falsework, concreting and steel tying
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and in demanding site conditions
Flexibility to work away from home for the required project duration
