About the role

We’re looking for a driven Sales & Hire Representative to grow our clients formwork hire business across Greater Sydney. You’ll build strong relationships with customers across the construction sector, identify new opportunities and help clients find practical formwork solutions for their projects.

This is a field-based role involving regular visits to active construction sites. You’ll manage opportunities from the first conversation through to quotation, hire agreement and delivery, working closely with the yard, logistics and administration teams to support each job.

What you’ll do

- Prospect for current customers and identify sales and hire opportunities across Greater Sydney.
- Build long-term working relationships with formworkers, builders, developers, subcontractors and other construction professionals.
- Visit construction sites to understand project needs, review site plans and recommend suitable formwork packages.
- Prepare competitive quotations and explain hire terms, pricing and product options.




- Negotiate hire agreements and follow up leads through to a decision.
- Keep customers informed and provide responsive support throughout each project.
- Coordinate with yard, logistics and administration teams to help ensure orders are prepared and delivered on time.
- Monitor upcoming construction projects and local industry activity to identify potential opportunities.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects, quotes and customer relationships, working toward agreed revenue targets.

What you’ll bring

- Practical experience in formwork, civil construction or the broader construction sector.
- A track record in business development, lead generation and managing client relationships.
- The motivation and personal drive to work independently, develop new business and meet ambitious revenue targets.
- Solid communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage site managers, estimators and company directors.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to contribute to a close-knit team.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to understand project specifications, prepare quotes and explain hire agreements.
- A valid Australian driver’s licence and full working rights in Australia.
- The ability to travel to active construction sites across Greater Sydney.

How you’ll succeed

You’ll succeed by staying close to your customers and their projects, following up opportunities consistently and recommending practical solutions that meet site requirements. You’ll be organised, commercially minded and comfortable balancing field visits, customer conversations and coordination with internal teams.
