Litigation Lawyer | 1-4 PAE | Premium Melbourne Commercial Firm

Our client is a premium Australian commercial law firm whose Melbourne Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice has a strong market reputation and is supported by a deep partner group, senior associates, lawyers and graduates. It is looking for a litigator with 1-4 years' post-admission experience. You will work with a range of partners, which builds a well-rounded generalist skill set and exposes you to a wide-ranging client base.

About the role

You will work closely with the litigation partners and directly with clients on complex, challenging and high-profile commercial disputes, contributing to strategic advice and the conduct of significant matters from start to finish.

What you'll bring

- 1-4 years' PAE in commercial litigation, gained in private practice in Australia or overseas
- Admission to practise in Australia
- The ability to identify the key issues in a matter
- Superior analytical, research, communication and drafting skills
- Sound judgement and a proactive, outcome-focused approach
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
