Operations Delivery Coordinator | NV2 Clearance

Support senior executive leadership in a complex Australian Government workplace, coordinating branch-wide operations, tracking delivery priorities and improving business processes. This EL1-equivalent role offers exposure to senior decision-making, cross-functional coordination and operational governance.

Location: Barton, ACT
Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite
Contract Duration: 6 months (4 January 2027 - 3 July 2027), with up to 2 x 6-month extension options.
Security Clearance Requirement: Current NV2 security clearance

Essential Tasks

- Coordinate branch-wide work plans, priorities, timelines and dependencies to support effective operational delivery.
- Maintain action registers, dashboards and reporting tools to track commitments, risks and emerging delivery issues.
- Prepare executive briefings, decision records, governance reports and operational updates for senior leadership.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks, improve business processes and coordinate activities across operational, finance and governance teams.

Key Criteria





- Demonstrated experience in business operations coordination, project coordination or senior executive support, typically with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities and elevate delivery issues appropriately.
- Excellent written communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience preparing executive briefs and governance documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint or equivalent platforms, alongside action registers, dashboards and work plans in government or regulated environments.
