Drive the delivery of a major Records & Information Management transformation.

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst for a four-month contract opportunity, working within a hands-on project team delivering significant change across a complex, multi-business-unit workplace.

This is a great opportunity for a Business Analyst with strong systems implementation, process analysis and stakeholder engagement experience who enjoys working closely with business and technology teams to translate business needs into practical solutions.

Working across a major Records & Information Management program, you'll play a key role in understanding existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting the design and implementation of new information management technologies, including SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.

About the Role:

- Lead and facilitate requirements gathering activities, including workshops, interviews and document reviews.
- Analyse and model current and future-state business processes, workflows and data flows.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, use cases and specifications.
- Work closely with an external implementation partner to ensure solutions align with business requirements and project objectives.
- Engage stakeholders across the organisation to understand business needs, manage expectations and build consensus.
- Develop and maintain process maps, business requirements, use cases and supporting documentation.
- Support end-to-end testing activities, ensuring delivered solutions meet agreed requirements.
- Identify process improvements and opportunities to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Support change management activities, including process documentation and training.




- Work closely with enterprise architecture, technology and records teams to determine appropriate solutions.
- Monitor implemented solutions and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.

About You

You're an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in systems implementation, business process analysis and information management. You're comfortable working across complex organisations, engaging stakeholders at all levels and translating business needs into practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.

You'll bring a strong understanding of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments, alongside the ability to quickly understand existing processes, gather requirements and produce high-quality documentation.

- Demonstrated experience analysing and modelling business processes, workflows and data flows across complex environments.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, with experience producing business cases, use cases, process maps and specifications.
- Experience gathering requirements for SharePoint or similar document and records management environments, with practical experience in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build consensus across multiple business units.
- Experience supporting change initiatives and testing programs within complex organisations.
- Understanding of information architecture, metadata and recordkeeping principles, alongside strong written documentation skills.
- Experience working within structured project environments, including PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile or hybrid methodologies.
