The following skills and qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Successfully completed a Certificate II in Automotive or another relevant pre-apprenticeship.
- Have an understanding and passion for mechanics or the motor industry.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Have completed Year 10 education.
- Be committed to long-term training and career development.
- Be able to follow directions and work as a valuable member of the team.
- Good computer knowledge/skills.
- Have sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Be self-motivated and take pride in completing jobs to a high standard.
- Embrace a workplace with a culture of zero harm.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical as well as ongoing drug & alcohol testing in the workplace.
- A current “C” class driver’s licence (ideal but not essential).
