Casual Medical Receptionist / Administration
Sky Podiatry | Prospect & Mowbray
Are you someone who loves connecting with people, keeping things organised and making someone's day a little easier?
Perhaps you're already working in reception, or you've built great customer service skills in retail, hospitality or administration and you're ready for something different.
At Sky Podiatry, a outstanding patient experience starts with you.
A Little About Sky
At Sky Podiatry, we help people stay comfortable, active and doing what they love through podiatry services across our two Launceston clinics, residential aged care and the community.
With our own orthotics laboratory, Lab Twenty-Six, we bring clinical care, creativity and technology together to make a difference for our patients.
We’re proud of what we’ve built, and excited about where we’re heading. We love fresh ideas, genuine human connections and those little touches that turn a routine appointment into a great experience.
Bring your energy, curiosity and care for people. Help us shape what comes next.
More Than a Friendly Face A warm welcome matters. So does remembering to return a call, helping someone understand their next appointment and making sure the details are right.
You'll help patients feel looked after from their first enquiry through to their ongoing journey, while supporting our clinical team to keep the day running smoothly.
Your day will include
- Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable
- Answering calls and helping with enquiries
- Managing appointments and organising follow-up care
- Processing payments and keeping patient records accurate
- Helping patients with forms, fees and appointment information
- Assisting with cleaning, packing and sterilising instruments, following our infection-control procedures
- Following things through so patients and teammates know what's happening next
It's a busy role with plenty of variety, and opportunities to make a difference.
Bring Your People Skills
You don't need to know everything about podiatry. You do need to care about people, take pride in your work and be willing to learn.
You're comfortable with computers, notice the details and can work through competing priorities without losing your friendly manner.
You're also happy to get involved behind the scenes. Instrument preparation and sterilisation are an important part of supporting safe patient care, and we'll provide training in our processes.
You ask questions when you're unsure, lend a hand when it's needed and take responsibility for what you've committed to.
Experience in reception or healthcare would be valuable. We'd also love to hear from people with strong customer service experience who are ready to bring their skills into healthcare.
Ready for Something Different? We'd Love to Meet You.
