Tech Solar Battery (Technoport Co Pty Ltd) is looking for a skilled and motivated A-Grade Electrician to join our growing team based in New Gisborne.

We are seeking an electrician with residential and/or commercial installation experience who is interested in advancing their career in solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and smart energy technologies.

Most of our projects are located in Gisborne, the Macedon Ranges and surrounding areas, making this an excellent chance for electricians looking to work closer to home.

Solar and battery experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

- $60–$70 per hour + super, depending on experience and qualifications.

- Higher rates negotiable for solar/battery-accredited electricians.

- Training and support to obtain SAA solar and battery accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

- Residential and commercial electrical installations and upgrades.

- Solar PV, battery storage and EV charger installations.

- Switchboard upgrades, fault finding, testing and commissioning.

- Ensure compliance with electrical standards and safety requirements.

- Work independently and alongside other electricians and apprentices.





- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.

About You

Essential Requirements:

- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified A-Grade Electrician in residential and/or commercial electrical installations.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Current driver's licence.

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

- Reliable, safety-conscious and committed to quality workmanship.

Highly Regarded:

- Solar PV and battery installation experience.

- SAA solar and/or battery accreditation.

- Experience supervising apprentices or coordinating installation work.

- Living in or near Gisborne, the Macedon Ranges or surrounding areas.
