Goodride Tyres Australia has been distributing tyres for more than 17 years. With warehousing facilities in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and Tasmania. We pride ourselves on delivering quality affordable tyres to our customers on time every time.

We are looking for an Account Manager to help grow our sales in Tasmania whilst also supporting our warehouse operations. This position will be based at our Rocherlea Tasmania facility.

Duties include

Account management

- Ability to manage a sales territory in view of achieving growth
- Offer exceptional customer service to allocated customers
- Recommend products suitable to specific application to meet customer needs
- Identify and escalate any concerns to supervisors
- Recognize, document,



and alert the management team of market trends to ensure Goodride remains market relevant
- Follow up customer inquiries where necessary
- Be an active participant in monthly sales meeting's

Warehousing

- Picking of orders in preparation for delivery to customers
- Receiving incoming goods and placing goods in allocated stock location
- Receiving international goods and placing goods in allocated stock location
- Help with container unloading
- Support with periodic stock checks
- Local deliveries in the Launceston area

Skills required

- Sales or Account management experience in the tyre industry preferred but not essential.
- Warehousing experience preferred but not essential
- Forklift license preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Able to work autonomously without constant supervision
- A willingness to learn and adapt to a changing setting
- Current Drivers licence required
