Job Title: Accounts Assistant (AP & AR) – FMCG

Location: Sydney CBD (On-site 4 days/week, 1 day WFH)

Type: 3-Month Temp-to-Perm

Hours: Full-time (38 hrs/week)

The Role A fast-growing FMCG business based in the CBD is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support their transactional finance team. Handling high-volume processing across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, this is an entry-to-junior level role offering strong mentorship and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position after 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

- Process high volumes of supplier invoices, credit claims, and delivery dockets.
- Perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, GRN) and resolve pricing/quantity discrepancies.
- Assist with high-volume customer invoicing and receipt allocations.
- Monitor debtor accounts and follow up on routine payment queries.
- Prepare weekly AP payment runs and assist with supplier statement reconciliations.




- Support month-end ledger balancing and ad-hoc finance admin tasks.

What You Bring
- 6–12+ months of foundational experience in AP, AR, or general accounts administration (internship or entry-level experience considered).
- Exposure to fast-paced, inventory-led environments (FMCG, retail, wholesale, or distribution highly regarded).
- Comfort managing repetitive, high-volume transactions with speed and accuracy.
- Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and basic formulas) and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Xero, or Pronto).
- Ability to commit to working on-site in the CBD 4 days per week.
