Administration & Customer Service

About the role

Barbaro Butchers & Smallgoods is seeking a full-time Administration & Customer Service professional to join our team in Wangara, WA.

This is a diverse, hands-on role within a busy and growing food manufacturing and wholesale business. You’ll be a key point of contact for our customers while working closely with our sales, production, warehouse and dispatch teams to keep orders and daily operations running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable, works well in a team and has a genuine can-do attitude.

What you’ll be doing

- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email

- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently

- Liaising with customers regarding orders, product availability, changes and deliveries

- Coordinating with production, warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely order fulfilment

- Maintaining customer records, databases and documentation

- Assisting with invoicing, credits and general account administration

- Conducting and assisting with weekly and end-of-month stocktakes

- Resolving customer enquiries, complaints and issues professionally

- Supporting management with general administrative duties

- Supporting the wider team wherever required

What we’re looking for

- Previous Admin/Customer Service Experience - Inventory experience highly regarded
- A hands-on, can-do attitude and willingness to get involved

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy





- Confidence dealing directly with customers
- A proactive approach to problem-solving

- Reliability and a strong work ethic

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word

- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Experience within food manufacturing, food processing, butchery, wholesale, distribution or FMCG would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Experience with ERP systems, inventory management, stocktakes or stock reconciliation would also be advantageous.
