The Opportunity

Based in Murray Bridge, this is a fantastic opportunity to take your superior administration skills and turn them into a career, rather than just a job.

You’ll receive significant mentoring and training to get you to the next level. So that as the Administrator Product Specifications you can become responsible for developing, maintaining and reviewing complex product specifications to ensure company standards, regulatory guidelines, customer requirements and compliance for product importing and exporting.

You will ensure all product specifications accurately reflect the product's characteristics, processing requirements, packaging, labelling, quality standards and food safety requirements, while meeting applicable Australian export legislation and international market access conditions.

Working closely with Quality Assurance, Production, Sales,



Export and Operational teams to ensure specifications are technically accurate, commercially appropriate, and compliant with the requirements of the intended destination market.

What we are looking for

· Exceptional MS administration skills with ‘HUGE’ attention to detail

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interpret regulatory guidelines, technical requirements and customer specifications

· Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills

· Ability to work collaboratively across operational and technical stakeholders

Experience that will help you stand out:

· Experience within the Australian meat processing or export industry, with knowledge of Australian meat export legislation, importing country requirements and market access conditions

· Ability to develop, prepare, review and maintain detailed product specifications for domestic and export markets

· Understanding of Approved Arrangements, HACCP, food safety systems and quality assurance principles or MICoR

· Sound understanding of product specifications, quality standards and document control

· Experience ensuring specifications experience are consistent with approved production processes, operational capabilities and company quality standards

· Familiarity with red meat product descriptions, anatomical specifications, trimming requirements, packaging and labeling standards
