Media Sales & Account Executive – Print, Digital & Social
Beerwah based | Full-time or part-time | Flexible hours | Base salary commission
We're looking for an energetic, motivated salesperson to join our growing local media business.
With two established weekly newspapers, Glasshouse Country & Maleny News and The Sentinel News, along with growing news websites and social media platforms, we're helping local businesses connect with customers in more ways than ever.
And we want someone who can help us grow.
This isn't just about selling newspaper ads.
You'll work with businesses to develop creative advertising solutions across print, digital and social media, helping them reach new customers and build their brands.
You'll have an established client base to work with, but a big part of the role will be getting out, meeting business owners, identifying opportunities and winning new business.
What we're looking for
- Someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and closing sales
- Experience in B2B sales, business development or account management
- Confidence approaching recent businesses and generating leads
- An interest in digital marketing, social media and advertising
- Initiative, organisation and the drive to achieve sales targets
- Someone comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Experience in media or digital advertising would be a bonus, but a proven ability to sell and develop recent business is more important.
What we're offering
- Competitive base salary plus commission
- Full-time or part-time flexibility
- An established client base with plenty of room to grow
- A diverse range of print and digital advertising products
- A supportive, experienced local team
- The opportunity to grow your career with an evolving media business
Based in Beerwah, you'll work with businesses across the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Moreton Bay and Somerset.
Interested? We'd love to hear from you.
