Gener8 Reproduction is one of North Queensland's leading bovine reproduction centres, delivering innovative reproductive services to beef producers across Australia. The Position
This diverse role combines customer service, reception, administration and livestock care with day-to-day operations around the centre.
The All Rounder/Administration Assistant is responsible for coordination of on farm services, on-centre animal husbandry, nursing assistance and general administration duties. In addition, the role ensures the consistent, high-quality delivery of inventory management, purchasing and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email enquiries.
- Coordinate veterinary and reproductive bookings
Administration
- Maintain accurate client and livestock records.
- Enter reproductive program data and documentation.
- Coordinating genetic material dispatch, packing tanks and assisting with tank inventory systems.
- Assist with accounts administration and invoicing.
- Order office supplies and monitor inventory.
- Maintain electronic filing systems and databases.
- Assist with stock control of consumables and office supplies.
- Assist with organising training schools, producer days and client events.
Animal Husbandry and Coordination
- Feeding, watering and checking livestock
- Safe cattle handling in paddocks and yards using low-stress stock handling principles.
- Cleaning and maintaining cattle yards and livestock facilities.
- Supporting veterinarians and technicians during busy reproductive programs.
About You
- Strong customer service skills and relationship builder
- Organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask
- Works well independently and within a team.
- Enjoys working both indoors and outdoors.
- Holds a current Australian Driver's Licence.
This role is based at our Charters Towers Reproduction Centre and includes a combination of office-based administration and outdoor duties.
- Previous cattle, farm or veterinary experience is preferred.
- Veterinary Nurses are encouraged to apply.
